Ty Price

Owner, President, and Founder

Ty is the founder of CKP. Ty married his high school sweetheart Rayelle, and they celebrated their 31st year of marriage on May 19th, 2022. Ty and Rayelle have two wonderful children named Chaz and Kamaran. Their son Chaz and his wife Kyra have a beautiful son named Brentley. Their daughter Kamaran and her husband Jackson have a beautiful newborn son named Dawson. Ty started in the HVAC industry as an apprentice sheet metal worker for McClintock sheet metal in North Canton in 1989. He worked in the field for 17 years while dreaming of starting his own business. Finally, this dream came true in 2006 when CKP Heating and Cooling, LLC was formed and named after his children. He now owns the building where he started his career and has surrounded himself with very talented people that have allowed the company to continue to grow. The core values of CKP are honesty and integrity. When we say we will do something, we must do precisely that. We want all our customers to be satisfied.

Chaz Price

Owner and Vice President

While in high school, Chaz began working as a general laborer for his dad, Ty, founder of CKP Heating & Cooling. He later moved into estimating after graduation. He earned his Ohio HVAC Contracting License at age 23 and later obtained licenses in Kentucky and Florida, as well. Chaz has been proud to work for his family’s company since day one. He is passionate about continuing to grow the business in his current role as co-owner and vice president. Chaz hopes to one day pass the business on to his son Brentley. Outside of work, Chaz is a dedicated member of the North Canton Rotary. In his home life, he loves spending time with his wife and son and enjoys camping, boating, and water sports.

Ben Wheeler

Chief Operating Officer

Ben is joining CKP Heating and Cooling after a 20 + year career in non-profit management. He has had the opportunity to manage multiple diverse facilities and lead large staff teams to achieve significant organizational growth. He continues to be very active in his community involved with both the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary.  He resides in North Canton with his children: Isabella, Genevieve and Benjamin Jr. Ben enjoys staying active through exercise, golf and traveling when not in the office.


Mark Fearn

Accountant

Mark was born and raised in Navarre, Ohio, and earned an accounting degree from Walsh University. He has over 20-plus years of experience in the accounting industry and joined CKP in 2020. Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.

Nick Pinion

Field Service Manager

Nick started in the HVAC business when he was 19. He has been with CKP since 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry. Nick enjoys working in the field on different types of equipment and bettering himself and others daily. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. Nick also enjoys watching the Guardians and Browns.

Fred Motz

Director of construction

Fred joined the CKP team in 2021 with 25 years of experience in the industry. He started his HVAC construction career in 1997, and since then, he has earned countless certifications. From 2003 up until now, he has been a project manager. Fred not only helps in the field, but he also handles scheduling jobs and other duties to make his construction team top-notch. Fred is a very motivated and ambitious worker who has developed a following with our customers!

Dan Fritz

Service Manager

In 2019, Dan Fritz joined CKP to help lead the Service Team, bringing over 30 years of commercial/ industrial HVAC/R experience. Dan looks forward to continuing to grow one of the best HVAC Service Teams in the area and the industry. He has a long history of leadership and training experience. Dan has engaged with local schools, municipalities, and charitable organizations. When not in the office, Dan enjoys spending time with his children, traveling, and engaging in outdoor sports and activities.

Rachel Schrock

Office Manager/Service Dispatcher

Rachel joined the CKP family in the Fall of 2022. She has helped the main office in many areas since her start with the company. Rachel's excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills are reflected in the great care she provides to our customers and service team. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys working out and spending time with her family.
